wise: Workplace Inclusion for a Sustainable Europe
The EPBN WISE project is a groundbreaking pan-European initiative aimed at promoting workplace inclusion while contributing to sustainability goals.
What is WISE?
At the heart of the EPBN Workplace Inclusion for a Sustainable Europe – WISE initiative lies a powerful vision: to create workplaces where every individual, regardless of their identity, feels valued and respected. This initiative was born out of the urgent need to address the inequalities that LGBTIQ+ employees still face across Europe. In a world where diversity should be celebrated, many continue to struggle with exclusion and discrimination.
Key Objectives
- commitment to international collaboration.
- Enable professionals from diverse backgrounds to succeed and contribute to their organizations.
- leveraging diverse expertise from across the continent.
Our Approach
- Developing policies that remove barriers to inclusion in the workplace.
- Providing training and resources to empower businesses and employees.
- Promoting sustainable and socially responsible business models.
We are excited to announce the launch of a pivotal initiative under the EPBN umbrella, developed in collaboration with key European associations and EPBN members L’ Autre Cercle (France), EDGE (Italy), Pride Biz Austria (Austria), Pride Business Forum (Czechia) and Völklinger Kreis (Germany). This transformative project promises to address and enhance LGBTIQ+ workplace equality through comprehensive needs assessments, innovative mentorship and role model programs, surveys, and strategic training initiatives.
The heart of this initiative lies in its commitment to international collaboration, leveraging diverse expertise from across the continent to forge impactful strategies and tools that will be accessible widely across Europe. By focusing on real-world impacts such as combating workplace microaggressions and fostering leadership among LGBTIQ+ professionals, the project sets a new benchmark for inclusivity.
More detailed information will be unveiled in the coming weeks, highlighting the extensive activities and expected outcomes, including the prestigious Diversity Awards and the much-anticipated Diversity Conference in Prague. Stay connected with EPBN as we drive this ambitious agenda forward, ensuring every workplace is a realm of equality, respect, and opportunity. More information coming soon.
This project also wouldn’t be possible without the support and funding from Orange and Label Paris Europe.
